How The Hell Did This Man Fit 3,000 People in One Photo? - Esquire: “People have said I’m crazy a fair bit,” chuckles legendary photographer, Gregory Heisler. “Bloomberg said that, Ali said that, and Giuliani might have said that when he was standing on the edge of the building.” He’s referring, of course, to Michael Bloomberg, Muhammed Ali, and Rudolf Giuliani, all of whom have posed for portraits by Heisler. (Oh, and the edge of the building bit? Heisler famously convinced the then New York City mayor to pose atop a parapet on the Top of the Rock observation deck at Rockefeller Center, some seventy floors above Sixth Avenue.)
